Can I come visit the studio?

Our studio is a small space so unfortunately, no.  There have been times in the past where we do a private dye day for a customer.  This may happen again but currently there are no plans for it. 

Where can I see your yarns in person?

We'd love to see you at our local LYS, Seaside Yarns!  While we don't always have everything in stock there, you can get a feel for the bases and colorways.  Plus, there's a comfortable sitting area that usually has other fiber lovers hanging out, working on projects.  

What is a February 29 colorway?

February 29 is our name for colors that aren't quite right or are test dyes.  We love playing with color and sometimes we don't write down how we made it.  If you see one you like, snap it up, there's a good chance you won't see it again!

Can you match a color?

We cannot match a color and guarantee that it will come out exactly as you see it.  Our dyeing process is a unique system of layering colors in small batches. Often, there is a difference in the yarns from the same batch.  We strongly suggest alternating skeins while doing a large project and ensuring that you buy enough yarn to finish the project.  If you do run out of a color, please get in touch with us and we can suggest other colors that would pair well with what you have.  

Will you wind my yarn?

Absolutely!  Just send us a note when you order.  We know that trying to wind by hand is a process that takes time and can sometimes result in a not so fun experience.  We'd love to save you time!  Please note that wound yarns are non refundable. 

How do you ship?

We use USPS to ship all orders.  If you select Priority Mail, we will ship it in flat rate packaging. This saves us time and we love that it is trackable. If you select First Class, it may take an extra couple days to get to you. When we ship it, you should receive a shipping notification along with tracking information.  If you are outside the USA, we ship the fastest/cheapest way possible.  

What is your return policy?

Please contact us if you have any problems with the yarn.  We take pride in making quality products but sometimes things may slip through.  We do not offer refunds on yarn that has already been wound.  We do not do refunds after 30 days for a variety of reasons, if you have questions please do reach out to us to ask.
