Farmstead Worsted

Farmstead is our very own line of yarn, spun by us at our farm. In January 2025, we took delivery of Belfast Mini Mill machinery with the intention to spin yarns that we love and offer them to you, our mill is called Glacial Fiberworks. We’ve worked hard to source wool from Upper Midwest Shepherdesses to help continue their production. 
This is our first offering, a worsted spun two ply 100% Merino wool. It is a worsted weight. There are 200 yards per 100 grams. This yarn is not machine washable. It is bouncy and warm. It is dyed in our dye studio using professional quality acid dyes.
